Veridicom International Inc has launched “VKI”, a multi-factor authentication key which helps to authenticate individuals in both the enterprise and physical. VKI, which is a single key that acts not only as a secure storage device that biometrically locks down sensitive data, acts as a uniquely identifiable fingerprint sensor that can biometrically authenticate individuals to multiple compatible networks including existing RFID access systems. The unit is an amalgamation of strong authentication, secure storage, application software, local, logical, remote, physical and electronic access capabilities. It provides a multi factor authentication via password, fingerprint, embedded hardware identification from within the device and optional RFID integration. The VKI is a secure, identity management device combined with USB Flash Drive, on board processing and Biometric Fingerprint Sensor.
